What is your blog called?
When did you start blogging and why?
I started blogging in 2011 after enrolling on an interior design course. Having a blog as a platform to collect and discuss my inspirations complimented this.
Was there a particular blog that inspired you to start?
There were hardly any blogs when I began blogging. There was one in particular, a fashion blog, that definitely sparked my interest in wanting to write about my likes and interest in both design and fashion.
How do you curate your content?
I’m very selective with where I get my content and information from. I like to keep up to date with whats new and therefore use social media as my primary platform to source new content.
Where do you find inspiration?
Travelling into London definitely refuels me; Notting Hill in particular. I become overwhelmed with inspiration from pretty houses to cute boutique shops. Travelling and embracing different cultures is definitely where I find my inspiration.
How do you stay motivated?
The same way I refuel; I travel into London and go for a stroll, that usually works for me. Also networking and socialising at events keeps my energy up.
Which blogs do you read regularly?
This is a great question! I rarely read blogs, mainly because I’m so busy working on my own. I also think that it’s very important to have a unique voice and style as a blogger and therefore I only stick to reading a few that suit my personal interests.
How long does it take to write a blog post?
It depends. If I’m collaborating with a brand or company, intensive research has to be done and getting all the imagery and facts together can be a longer process than writing a fashion related blog post. It also depends if photo editing has to be done or styling.
How do you promote your posts?
I usually promote my posts through my social media platforms, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
How did you grow your social media following?
Attending events and networking with likeminded people and being involved in the design industry helped me grow.
Which is your favourite social media platform?
Currently, Instagram. I love the daily inspiration and prettiness of it.
